What is the price of 1 unit of electricity in MP in 2026-27?
Short answer: Under the MPERC tariff order for 2026-27, domestic metered consumers pay ₹4.71 per unit for the first 50 units a month, ₹5.67 for 51–150, ₹7.05 for 151–300 and ₹7.24 above 300, plus a monthly fixed charge. Example (urban): 100 units = ₹653; 200 units with a 1 kW load = ₹1,455, before electricity duty and FPPAS.
